Hey Azfar, I wrote JEE advance twice after 12th. Based on my experience, I share this, if the candidate does not attempt JEE Advanced in the same year that he or she qualifies his Class 12 examinations, then that candidate will have no two attempts left. In the eligibility criteria, candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts at JEE Advanced, and that has to be used in two consecutive years after qualifying Class 12.For example, somebody qualifies Class 12 in the year 2025. No, 12th marksheet is not required for UPSC if you have done Polytechnic Diploma: Students who have done a two-year course in civil, electrical, or mechanical from a Polytechnic are considered equivalent to 12th pass. Diploma is a different kind of qualification that focuses more on practical skills and training. Diploma holders are often called junior engineers in India. After doing a Diploma in civil engineering, one starts working in junior or assistant positions. Diploma in Civil Engineering programme is a three-year course. This course includes design, construction, maintenance of roads, bridges, dams, buildings, etc.

The candidate must at least score a minimum of 50% marks in their examination. NIT Rourkela offers admission after considering the 12th exam results, JEE Main score.
