Aircraft maintenance engineering course is definitely not an engineering course even though the word engineering appears in the title. However one cannot call it a technician's course also. This is because a student gets a degree or B.Sc. After 3 years of studies in this course. After the completion of the course the students get the license from DGCA to work as aircraft maintenance engineers on the aircraft which are used by civil Airlines for carrying passengers and / or cargo. Best wishes to you.
