You may expect very basic entry level jobs with a diploma. I will also suggest you to check the SOL to have an idea about the professions in demand and decide accordingly. The higher your qualification and skills better the chances.

Yes, you can join aviation industry. You may do multi disciplinary M.Tech in aerospace degree offered by various universities. You can join Indian Air Force in aeronautical engineering (Electronics) branch also. IAF will train you on avionics and related fields.

59% is ok for SPP. Take your IELTS, if you score an overall band of 6 with module less than 5, you can apply. But, this does not guarantee admission.

Other than IITs and NITs there are many private universities like VIT, SRM, BITS, Galgotias, Nirma University, UPES-Dehradun, Amity, Sharda and LPU which are having high placement records and the decorum here will make your personality develop.

A career after mass communication and journalism requires commitment, dedication and sacrifice of personal time for the sake of staying on front or top, particularly in news industry. A journalist may have to work day in and day out to get breaking news.
