Yes, you can but if you want to become a qualified English teacher, I would suggest a PG in English (2 years). This could get you work as a corporate trainer. A Bachelors in education can help you find jobs in schools, although if you do have a good command over the language, you could simply try your luck without it.

Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the best college for national importance. JNU ranked 2nd by NIRF for overall university ranking. JNU conducts their own exam JNUEE for taking admission into Master's program. Every year, many students apply in this exam for getting admission here.
Here is the eligibility for Masters in English program:
1. Candidate completed their Bachelor Course in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks fir general and 45% for other category student.
2. Candidate must score more than cut-off marks in exam for getting admission in MA English program.

You have completed your graduation and Masters in commerce. Definitely, you should have enough command in your subject. It will be more convenient to you to apply for commerce subjects. But, if you have enough confident in English, and you think that you can carry the subject, then you can apply for English subject.

You should go for MA in English or MA in sociology for the same. But, I will suggest you for MA sociology as it will offer you a lot of options as compared to MA in English.
