Yes, the University of Victoria requires international students to submit their IELTS test score to prove proficiency in the English language. However, besides IELTS, international students can submit the test scores of othern English test such as TOEFL. Duolingo Is an English test for non native English speaking students to check their proficiency in English language. 120 score Duolingo score is equivalent to grade 7 of IELTS.
