All the courses offered at Trine University are taught in the English language. Therefore, Trine University makes it mandatory for international students to prove their proficiency in the English language. International students can prove their proficiency in the English language by demonstrating their IELTS score, TOELF score, or PTE score. For undergraduate courses the minimum requirement for TOELF is 71, for IELTS is 6.0 overall, and for PTE is 50 overall. However, for postgraduate courses the minimum required score for TOEFL is 79, for IELTS 6.5 overall and 6.0 minimum on each section, and for PTE is 58 overall.

You can get provisional admission at the university to pursue a bachelor's degree course if you meet all the admission requirements except for the English language proof. Such students will study at the university's American Language Institute until they are prepared to start the Bridge Pathway programme or fulfil the language requirements for a full-time UG course.
