Hello Brijesh, The minimum eligibility to apply for UGC NET exam is post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks from UGC recognised universities for general category candidates. The UGC NET exam is organized twice a year for selection of lecturer and junior research fellow in national institutes and universities. The UGC NET and CSIR NET exam conducted for the same purpose. The basic difference is that the Science stream candidates can apply for CSIR NET while arts, commerce, and other stream candidates can apply for UGC NET exam. There is no age limit for NET lectureship but for NET JRF the candidates must have minimum 30 years of age.
