Culver-Stockton College accepts numerous English proficiency assessments from international students. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is one of the recognised tests, with a minimum score of 550 for the paper-based test, 213 for the computer-based test, and 79 for the online test. The college also accepts the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with a minimum band score of 6.0. The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is also approved, with a minimum score of 53. Furthermore, the Duolingo English Test is recognised, with a minimum score of 105. These exams ensure that students possess the requisite English language abilities to succeed in their academic programmes.

The Trinity School of Medicine accepts a number of English language proficiency tests to facilitate admissions. Among them include the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) alongside Pearson Test of English (PTE). The reason behind this is that these exams are aimed at establishing whether candidates have adequate command of the language that can enable them do well in an academic institution with English as its medium of teaching. This is because; Trinity School has adopted multiple testing system hence enabling students to sit for any test they prefer based on their capabilities and circumstances.
