The eligibility criteria for UGC NET Environmental Science include having a master's degree or equivalent in Environmental Science or related subjects with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for candidates belonging to reserved categories). Candidates who are in the final year of their master's programme or waiting for the result can also apply.Thanks

The eligibility for M.Sc in geology or environmental science varies from college to college, but student must hold B.Sc in any life science subject. Some colleges may offer M.Sc geology to B.com and B.A students with high percentile or with science in 11th and 12th.

Candidates securing at least 55% marks in their Masters Degree or equivalent from recognised universities in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. Are eligible for this test.
