The eligibility criteria for 3 year B.Sc Environmental Science is a pass in 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Engineering diploma holders can also join the course. Andhra University; Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Visakhapatnam and University of Madras, Chennai etc. offers Bachelor of Environmental Management (BEM) course. Eligibility criteria and duration of this course is as same as that of B.Sc. course.

One can go for B.Sc or a B.E degree in Environmental Science. The minimum qualification required for this is 12th standard with Science subjects. The course duration is of three years.
Some universities require minimum pass percentage of 50% in PCM (10+2) level. Few reputed universities conduct entrance exams for admission into B.Sc. courses.
Selection is based on marks scored in the entrance test and marks scored in the 10+2 level.
