Yes, you can. You need to enroll in PG Degree or PG Diploma in event management to get familiar with field. Secondly, you must know how to make and maintain contacts in long run.

Hi Eapsita Roy,
An independent Event Manager don't need any age barrier to start a career. As per my knowledge, if you have passed 10th exam, then you are eligible to get an admission there.
