The IISER (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research) entrance test 2023 application process has begun. You can get a broad concept of how to fill out the application form from me. The following steps are commonly involved in the IISER Entrance Exam application process:
1. To register, go to the IISER official website and select the link to the application form. Register by providing your contact information, including your name, birthdate, email address, and mobile number.
2. Provide your contact and education information: Fill out the application form with your personal information, educational background, and other necessary details.
3. Upload papers: In accordance with the instructions on the application form, upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and other pertinent papers.
4. Pay Application Fee: You can pay the application fee online with a debit card, credit card, net banking, or any other method that is accepted. After completing all of the aforementioned processes, thoroughly examine the application form before submitting it.
6. Print Application Form: After submitting the application, make a copy of the filled-out form and store it for future use.

5. Submit the Application: After completing all of the aforementioned procedures, carefully examine and submit the application form.
6. Print Application Form: After submitting the form, print the filled-out version of the form and keep it for your records.

Step 1: Registration
Visit the official website of IISER.
Click on Click Here to Apply button.
Candidates will have to register using a valid Email-ID.
Create a password of 8 to 16 characters with at least one capital letter, special character and numeric digit.
At last, candidates will have to enter their first and last name and submit it.
A verification link will be send to candidates registered Email-ID.
Step 2: Fill Application Form & Upload Images
After verification of email, candidate will have to login the portal using their ID and password.
Candidates will have to select channel of admission and enter their personal and academic details.
Candidates have to upload the scanned passport size photograph in PNG/JPG/BMP format and size not larger than 2MB.
Scanned image of mark sheet and size not larger than 2 MB is also required to be uploaded (if applicable).
Details required to be filled in the application are given below:
Personal Details: Date of birth, Gender, Address, State, Pin code, Guardian name, Nationality, Category, whether belonging to PWD class, Kashmiri migrant or not, Mobile number, etc.
JEE Advanced /SBC channel Details: Full name (as mentioned in class 10th certificate), Date of birth (as mentioned in class 10th certificate), Gender, Category (GEN/SC/ST/OBC), Year of passing class 12th, Board of class 12th or equivalent examination, Roll number of class 12th or equivalent examination, Marks obtained in class 12th or equivalent examination, Parents/guardian names, Address, Mobile/Phone number, JEE Advance roll number, Center for IISER 2023 counseling, Choice of IISER for admission, Recipients of the eligibility note from the school board for Inspire Fellowship (for SBC channel), Language for Aptitude Test (for SBC channel), etc.
KVPY Channel Details: KVPY application number, KVPY seat number, Percentage marks in class 12th, Year of passing class 12th, Did you have mathematics in 10+2 or not, Selection of preference, etc.
Step 3: Fee Payment
This is the last step of IISER 2023 application form filling.
IISER 2023 application fee can be paid through online mode.
Candidates can pay the fee via debit/credit card, net banking & UPI.
After successful payment of the fee, submit the application form.
Download the duly filled application form for future reference.
If any candidate wishes to make changes in the submitted application form they can do so by logging the portal using their email-ID and password.
Candidates can edit all information except for name and Email-ID.

Given below is a list of documents/certificates whose scanned copies are to be uploaded at the time of online application for IAT 2025. The formats of the certificates are given in the Annexure.Class 10 certificate Class 12 (or equivalent examination).  If the class 12 (or equivalent) marks sheet is not available now, then you can instead upload a signed declaration form mentioning : DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF ELIGIBILITY EXAM CERTIFICATE/ MARKSHEET SEE Annexure). Fill up the form, sign it, scan it and then upload. The scanned copies of the actual marks sheet must be uploaded on or before July 7, 2025, failing which you will not be allotted a seat in any of the IISERs.

If the candidate has paid double fee while payment of JIPMAT application fee, the amount will be refunded. NTA will refund the excess JIPMAT application fee soon after the closure of the correction window, after fee reconciliation. In case one does not receive the refund, they can write an email to the exam authorities at jipmat[at]nta[dot]ac[dot]in. In the email for the excess fee reimbursement, candidates must state the following details:
- Application number
- Name
- Transaction reference number
- Date of the transaction
- Name of the bank/payment gateway through which payment was made
Candidates are advised not to wait until the last moment to pay the JIPMAT application fee. In case of payment failure, candidates will have excess time to seek refund and try paying the fee again.
