The official notification mentions all the eligibility conditions for the SSC CHSL exam. The SSC CHSL eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfil are: A candidate must be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, a person of Indian origin. Candidates who are between the age group of 18 to 27 years can apply for the exam. The education qualification required for registering for the SSC CHSL exam is class 12th passed.

There are three main components of the SSC CGL eligibility. These are
Nationality
Educational Qualification
Age limit. All the posts in the SSC CGL exam are open to the Citizens of India. To apply for the SSC CGL exam, the candidate must be a Graduate of a recognised university or institution. Apart from the citizenship and educational qualification, the candidates are required to fulfil the age limit and nationality criteria to appear in the exam.

The NID that exam is conducted in two stages - that Prelims and that Mains. Candidates who qualify that Prelims has to next appear in that Mains. The shortlisting for that Mains is done on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in the that Prelims exam. The that Prelims scorecard, along with section-wise scores, also contains the qualifying status of the candidate. Candidates who status says "qualified" can appear in that Mains.

All candidates will be requied to comply with the WBJEE eligibility criteria. The official eligibility criteria will be prepared and released online by the authorities of WBJEEB.
