Yes you can give Improvement exam in that particular subject next year in 2025. For that you have to fill Private Candidate form which will be out in 1st week of September on CBSE Website. Then select your subject, pay the fee and you will get your admit card at your postal address. After declaration of results, Within 20-30 days you will get your New Private Candidate Marksheet at your postal address again. Also You have to use Both Original Marksheet and New Private Candidate Marksheet for your counselling purpose next year.

The basic idea here is that you may fail the improvement exam and yet your attendance is not deeply dinged. That does not matter; you can apply for admission with the original marksheet. The improvement exam is meant to help one better his or her grades and in case the improvement exam was not done, the initial scores shall be considered.   Submit your:  Photocopy of the marksheet with lower marks mentioned in the application form. Improvement look at the exam marksheet and what attempt did u make at it Other documents such as a passing certificate (if any).  Colleges take the original marks
