The Panjab University BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws) and BCom LLB (Bachelor of Commerce Bachelor of Laws) entrance exams have a similar exam pattern. The SRCC GBO exam pattern is similar to the CAT exam pattern, but the SRCC GBO exam is slightly less difficult. The SRCC GBO exam has 160 multiple choice questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. The exam has four sections: Logical Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Ability, and English Comprehension and Language Ability. Each correct answer is worth four marks, and each incorrect answer is worth -1 mark.The CAT exam has 66 questions that must be answered in 120 minutes. The exam has three sections: Verbal Ability (Language Proficiency) and Reading (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative ability (QA).Both the exams have multiple choice questions with four options given for each question. CAT is a longer exam compared to SRCC GBO. The marking scheme, including the weightage of questions and the scoring system, can differ between the two exams. CAT is primarily used for admissions to various postgraduate management programmes, including MBA, in various Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other top B-schools.
