NEE 2023 Exam Pattern
There will be three levels- NEE 1, NEE 2, and NEE 3. Students can appear in any of the three according to their required course and eligibility. Mode of Examination: Online

NERIST NEE 2023 Marking Scheme
1- For all those questions having a weightage of 1 Mark:
For every correct answer, you will score 1 mark. For every wrong answer, 1/4 mark you will lose.
2- For all those questions having a weightage of 2 Mark:

It comprises 2 MCQ-based papers that are conducted on a single day. General studies paper 1, consists of 100 questions of 2 marks each. General Studies paper 2 (CSAT) consists of 80 questions of 2.5 marks each. However, CSAT is a qualifying paper. The UPSC exam pattern for the Mains stage consists of 9 papers conducted over 5 to 7 days. Only those candidates who secure at least the declared cut off in General Studies I and 33% in General Studies II in Prelims will be allowed to appear for the Mains Examination. The 9 papers in IAS Exam (Mains) are as follows: Paper A (Compulsory Indian Language); Paper B English which are qualifying in nature, while the other papers like Essay, General Studies Papers I, II, III, and IV, and Optional Papers I and II are considered for the final ranking. For PG Diploma in Business & Financial Journalism Course:
1- Basic Maths.
2- English language skills and facility.
3- Current Affairs and general knowledge. Besides, there will also be a question wherein students have to write a 200-word essay on a given subject.
