NCERT books can be beneficial for the aspirants in the initial days of preparation, especially for paper 1. However, it will not cover all the topics in detail. Sometimes KSET exam covers a wide range from all topics and may the NCERT book will not cover the topics in depth. Therefore, the candidates are advised to go through the detailed books and other study materials. Additionally solving previous years' question papers are taking mock tests can also be helpful in preparing for the KSET exam.

Yes, IPMAT books can be used for the SET exam preparation as both are BBA entrance exams. Candidates can use the same books for preparing for topics such as Quantitative Aptitude and General English. However, the difficulty level of the SET exam is much easier as compared to that of the IPMAT exam.
