Generally speaking, most universities consider a score of 80 to 100 to be competitive, whereas 90 to 100 is a high score that satisfies many institutions' admission requirements, particularly in English-speaking nations. To show a high level of English proficiency, certain prestigious universities, however, could demand higher marks, frequently between 100 and 110 or even higher. A score of 5.5 can be regarded as below the minimum required for academic programs, and candidates with this score might need to take more English proficiency tests or show growth through additional language instruction.
