Yes, admissions to the Amrita School of Engineering Chennai BTech programme can be taken even without having a valid JEE Main score. The university organises an in-house entrance test, namely AEEE. The exam takes place twice annually. The first phase is conducted in the month of February. Interested students can apply for the exam by visiting the official website of the university.

No, candidates are not allowed to appear for the CTET exam without a valid photo ID proof. Candidates need to keep the following three things for the centre- an original photo ID proof, CTET admit card and a recent passport-sized photograph. These are the mandatory documents required to be carried to the CTET exam centre. The valid photo identity proof could be any of the following - Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id.

No. A watch timer of 3 hours will be available on the computer screen of all the candidates to monitor thir exam timing. A candidate cannot carry or wear a atch inside the exam hall. Also, candidates cannot carry mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones,  microphones, pagers, health bands or any other electronic gadgets, any printed/blank/hand written paper, log tables, writing pads, scales, eraser,  geometry/pencil-boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, electronic pens/Scanner, wallets, handbags, camera, goggles or similar such items.

Yes, as per the official instructions of JEE Advanced, candidates are advised NOT to wear charm/taweez, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendant, badge,  brooch, clothes with big buttons. They are also advised to wear open footwear like chappals and sandals.

Yes, during the JEE Advanced exam, candidates are provided with rough sheets, commonly referred to as "scribble pads," for calculations and rough work. These pads are distributed at the beginning of each paper and must be returned to the invigilator after the exam.
