Usually, as per College Board, the applicants take SAT exam once or twice before app;ying for admissions, the reason being that colleges pick the highest score from either of the two attempts. It will assess a candidate's knowledge, clinical skills, and readiness to practice medicine. For BHMS course students, passing the NExT exam will be necessary to register as licensed medical practitioners and practice homeopathy.

CAT is one of the accepted exams for MBA course admissions. However, it is not compulsory to have this exam score for selection. ISMS Pune accept other national-level exam scores as well, such as CMAT/MAHCET/ATMA/MAT, etc. Candidates with a valid score of an entrance exam conducted for MBA by deemed universities can also apply. Apart from this, the aspirant must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements.
