No, you can't get a seat in MAKAUT because you failed in physics. You can chek other college's eligibility or try next year with better rank and result.

No, it is no possible to seek admission at IISc for M.Tech without GATE exam.  Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore offers a four year M.Tech in various specialisations including Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and others. Admission to all the courses at IISc is completely entrance-based. The aspirants are admitted to M.Tech at IISc based on scores in GATE exam followed by COAP counselling.
