8777 score in the IELTS examination means that you have scored 8.0 in Listening, 7.0 in Reading, 7.0 in Writing, and 7.0 in Speaking. 8777 score corresponds to CLB 9 level. This means that you have an 82-point advantage when compared to a person who is on the CLB 8 level. This raises your rank in the Express Entry pool. Moreover, scoring 8777 in the IELTS will make you eligible for most of the Universities that require an IELTS score as proof of English-language proficiency.

Yes. If you score 7.0 or above in the IELTS examination, your score is considered a good score. Scoring 7.0 or above puts you in a safe zone where you clear cut-offs of most of the Universities that require an IELTS score as proof of English-language proficiency. Getting a high score also helps you score well in the Canada Express Entry Pool, thereby increasing your chances of getting a PR. Hence, your aim must be to score as high as possible in any exam. Even though scoring high does not guarantee you a position in the top Universities, it definitely improves your chances.

With a GATE score of 700/1000 in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), you have a strong chance of securing admission to IITs for M.Tech programs, depending on the specific department and programme requirements. Past cutoffs for CSE in IITs, such as IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, and IIT Delhi, generally range from 750–820 for general category students. However, mid-tier IITs or interdisciplinary programs might accept scores around 700. Apply through COAP for seat allocation.

No, if you do not appear for the first paper of the NDA (National Defence Academy) exam, you cannot apply for the second paper. The NDA exam consists of two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). Both papers are mandatory, and candidates must appear for both to be eligible for further selection. Missing the first paper means disqualification from the entire exam process for that session.

Yes, you can apply for the IIT JAM exam, even if you do not have Chemistry as your subsidiary subject in B.Sc. Botany (Hons.). The IIT JAM exam for admission to M.Sc. programs generally has subject-specific eligibility criteria. For example, if you are applying for the M.Sc. in Biological Sciences or other related fields, having a background in Botany should make you eligible, even if Chemistry is not a subsidiary subject.

With 767 marks and a GATE rank of 422 in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) paper, you stand a good chance of getting a call from IISc (Indian Institute of Science) for their M.Tech program. However, the final admission depends on the cutoff for that particular year, which varies based on factors such as the number of applicants and seat availability.
