Having secured a percentile of 96.55 in the JEE Main Session - 1, 2024, your chances are likely to get admission to a few of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) for programs of Computer Science. Normally, a rank between 3,700 to 10,000 would have seen an individual being competitive in admissions to B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in those institutions. The cut-off for general category top NITs is generally around 93.23 percentile; your score therefore is more than it. The syllabus of the Kerala State Eligibility Test Paper 2 is based on the subject of specialisation at the postgraduate level, and it contains 31 subjects. The candidate needs to choose his subject at the time of application. The paper consists of 120 MCQs with 1 mark each except for Mathematics and Statistics, which consist of 80 MCQs with 1.5 marks each. The subjects under Paper 2 are Anthropology, Arabic, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, English, Gandhian Studies, Geography, Mathematics, Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, Social Work, Sociology, Geology, Hindi, History, Home Science, Islamic History, Journalism, Kannada, Malayalam, Statistics, Tamil, Urdu, Zoology, and Biotechnology. Candidates must go through the syllabus of the selected subject to prepare for the test.
