Some institutions offer direct entry or accept state-level entrance exams for B.Tech Food Technology. For example, colleges like Jadavpur University and various state-level universities might offer this course with alternative entry pathways.

To get admission to the B.Tech programs at SLIET University, candidates typically need to appear for the JEE Main exam, and the cutoff is determined based on their performance. The exact cutoff varies yearly depending on factors like the number of applicants and their exam performance. SLIET also considers scores from their own entrance exam, depending on the course, but JEE Main scores are a common route for B.Tech admission.

In the KEAM exam, there is no strict requirement to score 10 marks each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. However, the total score of 10/600 would be extremely low and unlikely to qualify for admission. For a valid ranking and eligibility for engineering courses, candidates typically need to secure a reasonable score across all subjects. The final rank list is prepared based on marks from the exam, and passing marks depend on category and course selection.

GAT is not strictly necessary because GITAM School of Technology, Visakhapatnam also admits to scores of other national or state entrance tests conducted by JEE or EAMCET. GAT nonetheless offers an alternate means to obtaining admission and scholarships. So, students are advised to opt for GAT for improving their chances and benefits.

Admission to the International Management Institute (IMI) may be difficult for someone with a CAT score of 7.90 because, depending on the programme and competition, the institute usually accepts applicants with higher scores, frequently over the 80–90 percentile. IMI, however, assesses applicants holistically, taking into account their extracurricular accomplishments, professional background, and academic standing. Your application might be strengthened if you possess good credentials in these areas. It could also be wise to look into other management schools with less stringent CAT score criteria or alternate routes like management

Yes, admission to Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) Ludhiana is possible without the JEE exam, depending on the admission process for specific courses. GNDEC admits students through multiple pathways, including state-level entrance exams and merit-based admissions. In Punjab, students can apply through the Punjab Technical University (PTU) counseling process, where admission is often based on Class 12 marks or other state-level exams like CET.

Given your 979 intermediate exam grades and 89 percentile JEE Mains scores, you stand a good chance of being accepted into SASTRA Universitys Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programme in Thanjavur. There are two routes for admissions:Stream 1: Comprising normalised 12th marks (75%) and the JEE Mains (25%) accounts for 70% of seats.Stream 2: Covering the remaining 30% based only on 12th grade grades. The merit-based requirements of Stream 1 are adequately met by your scores. But there is fierce rivalry for CSE, and the final admission results rely on the total number of applicants and the cutoffs
