No.Executive program provided by IIBM is not a degree and will not count as a year of education for doing PhD.Institute misleads students by informing it is equivalent to masters.The institute does not provide UGC approve degree.

The executive MBA courses provided by XLRI are various but two executive programme from XLRI worth mentioning is HRM programme and its executive fellowship programme. They shortlist the candidate based on marks, MBA passed by school, work experience etc. The admission is based on- Applicants for Exec. FPM should: have an MBA / Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) or equivalent or GMP/PGPX or A Year full-time residential programme in Management (with 60% marks), Candidates from Premier B-Schools will be given preference. IMT Gaziabad is a good b school in NCR. It is a good choice for executive MBA but you can also explore on other option like XLRI, Symbosis, Iims executive programs.
