ICSI will grant exemptions to only such candidates who have completed certain professional or academic requirements. Such qualifications must be recognized by ICSI, and the exact requirements of exclusions are given in the ICSI prospectus. Yes, many people start the CS course at a later age in life and have very successful careers as Company Secretaries. Your age should not deter you, provided you have the necessary passion and dedication.You already have a base in some of the relevant subjects, such as economics, business environment, communication, etc., because of your work experience. This can actually work to your advantage in the Foundation and Executive levels of the course.
