If you pursue regular MBA from a B-school which is under CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT, then it will have highest valuation. Specialisation does not mean much. Tender process, MIS, database management, etc. are subjects of all specialisations. You may choose international business, finance or supply-chain as specialisation.

To get an admission to IIM, you will need to write CAT. Applications usually open in Jul-Aug and exams are held in November. Once the results are out, all the IIMs release the shortlist for interview and GD/WAT. If you do really well in that as well you are offered an admission. And before you ask, yes there are some points for work experience.

Hello,
Your work experience, which is one of the criteria, qualifies you to be eligible to apply for a part-time PGDM. However, it is a evening course and not an exclusive weekend course. I have shared the link to the different courses and programmes available at our Institute. Please have look and feel free to get back for any other clarifications. Thank you.

First you should answer following:
1. Are you good with numbers?
2. Are you good in clerical work?
3. Do you have eyes for details?
4. Can you ensure 100% accuracy while working with numbers?
5. Do you enjoy doing same kind of work for hours, months and years
If it is, then you may opt either. Payroll deals with handling employee's salary, deduction and payment whereas accounts has vast area such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reports, MIS, credit control etc. Where you get larger exposures. You should decide accordingly.

Hi Cobi,
Usually account executives hunt for new business and account managers farm it after it gets hunted. However it varies a lot company to company. Typically an Account Exec is a new business hunter where an Account Manager is an existing customer farmer.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up if you found this useful.
Wish You Luck!
