Dear don't be disheartened, the evaluation system is always Fair and just and cannot be doubted.
Only having highest marks in the written exam are not enough, the other rounds count too .
Don't be discouraged and keep working hard and try for the next time.

The cutoff for the first round is 30% of marks in the written test which makes you qualify to the next rounds i.e the group discussion and the personal interview. But a good score in the written round shall help you a lot to crack the entrance since it has the maximum weightage.
I guess we have a 20% quota for girls but you shouldn't be bothered about the reservation and try and focus on your preparation and giving your level best.
All the best.

Arpita

Hello,
Sample papers for DEI's written test aren't available anywhere. They don't even let you carry your question paper once we are done with the exam. But yes you can go through the syllabus provided on the official website of our college- which comprises of 4 parts i.e English, quantitative maths, logical reasoning and general knowledge (only Indian culture and history). The exam comprises of 200 questions, 50 from each section. You can prepare for them from various other sources provided online or from books.
