No, the Faculty of Law, Calcutta University does not accept CLAT scores for admission to its undergraduate programme (B.A. LL.B.). CLAT is primarily designed for admission to National Law Universities in India. The Faculty of Law, Calcutta University conducts its own entrance exam for admission to the B.A. LL.B. program. The Faculty of Law website itself does not mention CLAT scores as a requirement for admission.

Yes, it is a great college for pursuing an LL.B if you aspire to enter into litigation or judiciary as it has a huge alumni base of prominent lawyers, judges and politicians with an affordable fee structure, however, if you want to join corporate after an LL.B, Allahabad University might not be a good option because of its lack of campus placements.

No, to get admission to the LL.B programme at Allahabad University you have to clear the Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT), which is conducted by the University, for the admission in academic year 2024-25. The registrations are still open for the test, you can check them on the website of the university.

The AMU Faculty of Law requires a score between 70 and 80 for the B.A. and LL.B. obtained a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 education from an accredited board. 22 is the maximum age restriction. Candidates from AMU who have completed the bridge course and scored at least 50% are eligible. Applicants for the course must have an LLB degree or a three-year LLB degree with a minimum of 55% overall marks or an equivalent grade from an educational institution recognised by the UGC. BHU is a vast university with numerous departments and faculties, each offering various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate programs. The official BHU website lists its various faculty members and departments. Each department page might have information on the programs it offers. It has six Diploma courses, 26 undergraduate courses (amounting to honors programs), and 111 postgraduate divisions (including MA, MS, MTech, and MBA programs).

Indeed, the institution provides three-year BA (Hons) programmes in a variety of specialisations within the Social Sciences and Arts stream. Both the main campus and colleges connected to BHU provide the UG-level education. The eligibility criteria specify the minimal requirements that applicants to the MBBS programme must meet in order to be admitted. Therefore, in order to be eligible, a candidate needs to have passed English and Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in a recognised board or university at the Class 12 level or above. A minimum of 50% aggregate (PCBE) for the General Category, 40% for OBC (non-creamy layer), SC, and ST, and 45% for PC in the General Category should also have been achieved by the candidate in the exam.
