Out of 119 UG (5-year), graduates 95 were successfully placed during 2022 placements. For PG (2-year) courses, 4,201 out of 5,975 students were placed. Over the past three years (2020 to 2022), a fluctuating trend was observed in the number of students placed. The exam will be conducted in the offline mode.
The medium of Exam will be English.
Duration of the Entrance Exam is 2 and a half hours.
The question paper will contain objective type questions for 100 marks.
There will be no negative marking.
Calcutta University BA LLB Exam Pattern 2018: Subjects.
The questions will be asked from the following subjects.
General English.
General Awareness / Current Affairs.
General Math.
Test of Reasoning (Verbal & Non-verbal).
Calcutta University BA LLB Exam Pattern 2018 -The University of Calcutta will release the Exam Pattern of Calcutta University BA LLB 2018. Candidates who wish to seek admission to the Law Colleges affiliated to the University of Calcutta can go through the Calcutta University BA LLB 2018 Exam Pattern before the exam. Calcutta University BA LLB 2018 will be conducted in the last week of June 2018. The application form of Calcutta University BA LLB 2018 will be available from the first week of June. Candidates can fill up and submit the application form along with the application fee until the Third week of June 2018. The University of Calcutta conducts Calcutta University BA LLB for the admission to the five-year integrated BA LLB programme offered in 12 Law Colleges affiliated to the university.

Okay, so, without any further ado, let me tell you that the Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta DOESN'T even have a placement cell unlike other universities. Therefore, if one was hoping for job recruitment or campus placement, I'm sorry to dash your hopes. However, several students after graduating from here have applied in some of the big shot law firms such as Fox Mandal & Co., Khaitan & Co. etc in the city and many have pursued LLM in prestigious universities abroad such as Queen Mary University, Cambridge, etc.
It's safe to say that though the college won't provide any campus recruitment in the near future, it might make a good lawyer of you who can be recruited by reputable firms in the city.
