As the basic eligibility criteria of all the university is graduation from any recognized university.

Changes do happen in eligibility criteria, syllabus patterns etc.
So there might be some changes coming in the near future but nothing can be predicted.

Entrance score and then your Interviews and GD's score will matter if you want to get admission in MBA.

As far as I know, admission will be purely on merit basis.

This candidate with CAT 2016 percentile score of 99 has sectional percentile scores of 100 in Quant; 98 in DILR and 80 in VARC
After FMS awards weightage: 30% of 100=30 in Quant; 30% of 98=29.4 in DILR; 40% of 80=32 in VARC. Total points the candidate has scored in shortlisting process are 91.6
Now Candidate-2 with 97 percentile
This candidate with CAT 2016 percentile score of 97 has sectional percentile scores of 94 in Quant; 92 in DILR and 99 in VARC

Directly, it doesn't as FMS does not give any weightage to your academic profile but indirectly it might affect the perception of the panel regarding your candidature.

Candidates applying for admission to the two year full time MBA, must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline after class 12th of formal schooling with at least 50% marks. (SC, ST, OBC, PWD and CW: 45%) or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of Bachelor's degree may also apply.
Admission to MBA program is based on extempore speech, personal interview and CAT score (Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institutes of Management). Applicants who have not taken CAT 2016 will not be considered for admission for MBA session 2017-19.
