The cutoff for admission to MBA programme 2016 is composite score of 59.430 for general category candidates.
The Composite Score has been computed by giving weightage of 40%, 30%, and 30% to the
scores of VRC, DI/LR, and QA Sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre for the CAT
2015 Examination for candidates who registered with FMS. For example:
Composite Score = ?(Score in Section * Weightage)/Max Marks for the Section

Dear Sunidihi,
Your background, be it engineering or non-engineering won't play much difference in your placement. At FMS, you learn a plenty of new skills and gain vast knowledge on various business domains like marketing, finance, operations, etc. Google will also come for people who have the required skills in all such domains and if you have those skills, it doesn't matter you are an engineer or not.

Hello Rashika, In order to get admission into FMS, Delhi, you will first have to give CAT exam. For Indian Nationals, admission to two-year-full-time MBA program is based on your CAT score. After which, a shortlist is prepared and the students are called for Extempore and Personal Interview. A merit list is prepared on the basis of which final admissions are offered to the students. With the changing pattern of CAT, FMS has slightly changed its criteria. But no need to worry, first stage shortlist will only be based on CAT. FMS Delhi will award the highest weightage of 40% to VARC section in its shortlisting criteria for MBA 2016-18 ba

Hello Abhishek,
Last year a person with percentile 99.2 secured almost the last seat in FMS. Moreover, last year the overall percentile used to be considered, so it was a bit easier to answer this question. However, from this year sectional cutoffs have also been included along with 3% for gender diversity. It is really tough to tell a percentile that can guarantee you admission. Cutoffs vary every year and so does the process.

Hello Sunidihi,
POR means Positions of Responsibility i.e. if you have held any position in any college society, club or in your office if you have work experience. It includes anything where you had the responsibility to complete a task like organising an event in college fest, captain of cricket team, class monitor, etc.

Hello Sunidihi,
98.54 was the cutoff for the CAT exam held in 2014 for admission to the 2015-17 batch. For the CAT exam conducted in 2015 for the 2016-18 batch, the cutoff has not been released yet. The shortlist along with the cutoff will be out soon. All the best.

Guide-Level 13

You need to score around 97 percentile in MAT and then, you need to clear GD and PI. Before that, ensure that you managed to score 60+% in your graduation.

Hello Ashwani, The relaxation offered for the reserved category students in FMS is the same that is offered in any college having reservations. The same percentage of seats is reserved for the category students and the same leverage is given. Also, the cutoffs vary every year and there would not be any specific percentile that can guarnatee you admission in FMS. At this point of time, I will suggest you to focus on CAT and score as much as you can. All the best.
