It depends on you as a student. If you are mediocre, FMS is the place to be. NOBODY flunks at FMS. You will end up getting decent internals, so you will definitely pass. On the other hand there are quite a few number of students who drop out of the top Iims (to put it politely they flunk). Placements completely depend on you. Top IB, consulting firms don't visit FMS or at max takes one student (roles differ from top Iims). But the fact remains, if you are mediocre, you would not have made it to a top notch firm in a desirable role even in IIMABC. There are few students at FMS who would not last a semester at IIM ABC. Hello,
Your percentage is very good throughout your academics till now. For FMS, you need to have 90 percentile in cat to get admission. FMS keeps a very high percentile for admissions though other colleges are easily available.
