The SEED exam is conducted for admission to the B.Des program. The candidate needs to download the question paper from the official website of the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). Alternatively, they may download the question papers from this page. To download a sample paper, simply click on the relevant paper. The sample paper will open in downloadable pdf format. The candidate can practice the sample papers alomng with their regular exam preparation routine.

A key feature of sample papers is that they contain questions that are similar to the ones that are asked in the entrance exam. For instance, they are of almost the same difficulty level and cover the official syllabus. Consequently, solving SEED question papers will help the candidates understand the exam pattern and know the types of questions asked. It will also help them know question-wise weightage of topicsm, and learn the tricks to solve them. The candidate can download the official sample papers of SID at sid.edu.in.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has announced the Round 3 Seat Allotment results on Jun 15. Round 3 is considerably the last round for NIFT Counselling 2023 for admission to UG and PG courses offered by NIFT under the field of Design.As of now, there are no further rounds scheduled for NIFT Counselling 2023, it is only in the case of vacant seats, NIFT will be conducting a Spot Round for remaining seat allocations. Earlier, NIFT released Round 1 Seat Allotment results on Jun 1 and Round 2 Seat Allotment resulst on Jun 8.  

Your first priority should be for getting a suitable job profile. The college campus was the best for placement for all freshers. So approach to your college for considering you for placement drives. The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will release the first merit list of SEED 2024 on April 18, 2024. The merit list will be released online at the SID admission portal - sid.edu.in. To download the merit list, log in to the portal using your SID log-in id and password.Candidates who are included in the merit list are eligible for admission to the B.Desprogrammeoffered by participating colleges. To confirm their seats, merit list candidates will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee within the given deadline.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) in TWO rounds.1st round was held on March 29-31, while 2nd round was held from April 5-7, 2024.The PRPI was held online. On the day of the exam, the candidate will had to log-in to the portal using the relevant link. Note that the candidate had to log-in using their candidate credentials to take the PRPI.Note that during the personal interaction, the candidate may be asked to make a sketch. So, come prepared.

The candidate will have to upload their portfolio and PRPI task starting tentatively in the 2nd week of April 2024. The link to upload the portfolio and PRPI task will be activated soon after the slot booking process is over.The slot booking for the PRPI will be held sometime in the last week of January 2024.When uploading the portfolio, the candidate needs to ensure that they are uploading their bests works. Also, one needs to follow the size and format specifications when uploading the documents.

The PRPI admit cards will be released tentatively in the 1st week of April 2024. The admit card will be issued to all candidates who have been shortlisted and booked their slots. To download the PRPI admit card follow these steps:Go to SID admission portalClick on the admit card linkIn the log-in window that opens, enter your SID log-in id and passwordOn log-in, you can download the PRPI admit card.

Candidates who are shortlisted for the PRPI will have to book their slots. Note that slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So, the candidate must book their slots as soon as the slot booking window opens. To book their slots, the candidate will have to go to the SID admission portal - sid.edu.in. In the lgo-in window that opens, enter your SID log-in ID and password. On login, you can book yout slot.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) released the shortlist for the PRPI on January 30, 2024. The shortlist was released soon after the declaration of SEED 2024 results.The candidate had to download the shortlist online from the SID admission portal. Candidates who were included in the shortlist were eligible to appear in the PRPI round. Note that the final merit list of SID will be prepared by considering the cumulative performance of the candidate in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Personal Interaction.
