LPU curriculum provides the flexibility to pick elective subjects of your choice and design your own pathway of learning. A wide variety of interdisciplinary electives allow you to widen your horizon and explore your hidden potential. Based on this programme a student has the career opportunities like Visual Merchandiser, Apparel procurement manager, Fashion retail store manager, Fashion designer in Export/ buying/ Retail houses, Apparel and design production manager, Fashion educators (teaching) or entrepreneur of fashion boutique, owner of production house of fashion apparel, Fashion stylist and many more options are there. The workshops are conducted for hands on experience on graphic design, knitting technology, digital marketing, design portfolio, fashion design and grooming, fabric draping etc.

The eligibility criteria for NRI candidates for asked course of VIT Chennai is given below. Eligibility :
1. Completed 12 years of schooling (Equivalent to 10+2 system of Indian Education) / Diploma awarded with Minimum of 60% overall average. (Usually, it is Grade C, to be produced with equivalent marks)
2. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2000 are eligible to apply.
3. For candidates having NRI status, the Sponsorship should be given only by the parent (either father or mother) living abroad [Sponsorship by a relative/friend is not acceptable]
4. NRI candidates should produce Employer Certificate of the sponsor (either Father or Mother)
5. A valid passport and Visa copies
6. Candidate should have studied through Regular, Full Time and Formal Education mode.
