In my sight, the government colleges are the best design colleges, namely NIFT and NID. Both the colleges have branches in many Indian states. Apart from theses two, Pearl Academy, Delhi and Jaipur, both are equally good but private. Amity school of fashion technology, Symbiosis institute of design are also good ones. Yes, class 12th from any stream will be eligible to pursue Diploma course in fashion designing course. You should be aware of basic eligibility criteria for this. So, all the best for this.
