Yes, you can become a fashion designer after completing tetile designing course. Textile design teaches you the fundamentals of designing materials, patterns and prints. You can use this knowledge in fashion designing. Many people who are now fashion designers started their careers as textile designers . You should note that becoming a successful fashion designer often necessitates a combination of education, experience, and a distinct fashion perspective. Also remember that competition in the fashion sector is high, and breaking into it can be difficult. But it is totally your choice. Hope this helps!

Don’t worry if you have scored less marks in Class 12. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the programme is a 10+2 pass in any discipline. Some colleges may also insist on a minimum mark, which may be anything from 50% aggregate marks and upwards. However, colleges ask for 45% aggregate marks if the students are from SC/ ST/ OBC category.
