When filling up the SEED 2024 application form, the candidate must furnish only correct and verifiable data. In case the candidate offers incorrect or false data, he or she may be disqualified. Note that the SID admission will have a counseling round, where all the information provided by the candidate will be verified. The candidate will be considered for admission only if the verification process is successful.The counseling of SID will be held soon after the first merit list is released.

The Symbiosis institute of Design (SID) usually does not have an application correction windows. So, candidates must be careful when filling out the SEED 2025 application form. Note that if any incorrect information is furnished in the application, the candidate may be disqualified. The SID admission committee will check candidate information at the time of counseling and seat allotment. Note that if SID decides to give candidates an option to edit the application form for the next academic session, the same will be updated here. 

To fill out the SEED application form, the candidate will have to upload the following documents:Class 10 mark sheetClass 12 mark sheetRecent passport size photographySignaturePhotos ID proofCaste certificate (if applicable).When uploading the documents, the candidate needs to make sure they are as per the prescribed specifications and format. Also, only genuine information must be furnished.

The application form for SEED 2025 will open tentatively in the 4th week of August 2025. To fill out the form, the candidate needs to follow these steps:Click on registerFill in all the relevant informationUpon registration, proceed to pay the application feeUpload documentsFill in personal, academic, and contact details.Submit the form.

The admit card for the SEED 2025 exam will be released around the 1st week of January 2025. Admit cards will be released for all candidates who have successfully registered for the design entrance exam. To download the admit card, go to the SID admission portal and log-in using your candidate credentials.In the log-in window that opens, enter your SEED log-in ID and password. On the day of the exam, you will have to bring the admit card and a valid photo id proof.

In previous editions, when the exam was held in centre-based mode, the candidate had to select their options at the time of filling out the SEED applcation form. The candidates had to select three exam centres in the order of priority.  On the day of the SEED 2025 exam, the candidate needs to keep ready their admit cards and ID. Also, the candidate must be ready with their laptops, webcams, and other accessories to take the exam.

The 1st seat allotment cum merit list of SEED 2025 (B.Des) will be declared tentatively in the 3rd week of April 2025. Candidates who are allocated seats will have to pay the seat-acceptance fee on or before the last date. The fee payment schedule will be released by the Symbiosis Institute of Design on its admission portal - sid.edu.in.If the candidate fails to make the payment within the given deadline, the allotted seat will be canceled and will be allocated to the candidate next in the order of merit. Also, along with the payment of the fees, the candidate will also have to register for the allotted program. 

The candidate has to upload a digital portfolio as part of the admission process at SID. The digital portfolio must be a compilation of the candidate’s best works and showcase their skills, passion, and interest in a variety of areas and techniques. The candidate must ensure that the portfolio includes items that he or she is proud of. Try to be different and include unique and interesting things.When uploading the portfolio, the candidate must follow the specifications and guidelines issued by the admission official.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will release the first merit list tenatively in the 1st week of April 2025. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website; i.e. sid.edu.in.To download the merit list, the candidate will have to log in to the result portal using their B.Des ID and password.The merit list will include the merit rank of the candidate and the seat allotment status. Candidates who are included in the merit list will have to get registered for the programme and pay the fee on or before the last date.
