The Design Village has an intake of 105 seats. Candidates can choose from courses like B.Des, Graphic Design, Product Design, and Interaction Design.Admission to all courses will be based on merit rank of the candidate in the TDV entrance exam. Note that higher ranked candidates will be given preference.

Yes, the candidate are recommended to submit their design portfolios at the time of the interview. The portfolio must include your best works and must be represetative of a wide spectrum of works. Note that if you don't upload the portfolio, your candidature will be cancelled.

Yes, the Design Village is conducting mock tests for the TDV 2024 entrance exam. The mock test is available on the TDV admission portal. The mock test is free. Note that the mocks tests are conducted close to the exam.The purpose of the mock tests is to give the candidate a first-hand experience of the exam-day atmospher, and how to answer questions, types of questions asked, etc. 

The TDV 2024 entrance exam will include the following type of questions:Correlative QuizComprehensive QuestionsQuestions for taking positionsCreating Thumbnails.Situation TestTo get a good score in the TDV entrance exam, the candidate needs to prepare for each type of questions.

Admission to the design courses offered by the Design Village will be based on the merit rank of the candidate in the TDV 2024 entrance exam. The candidate must appear in all the stages of the admission process. This includes counseling, which will be conducted soon after the declaration of exam results.

The new batch will commence in August 2024. Admission to the institute will be based on merit of the TDV entrance exam. Candidates who are ranked higher in the merit list will get preference during the seat allotment process. Candidates can check the detailed admission process here.

The Design Village will conduct the Students Entrance exam after the application process is over. Candidates who fill out the application form could appear in the exam. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria need to duly fill out the form and pay the application fee.

The more sample papers one solves, the better poised one will be to do well in the TDV 2024 entrance exam. The candidate can solve sample papers very early on in their exam preparation. For instance after completing a chapter, solve all related questions related to that topic.

There is no set formula for solving a sample paper for the TDV entrance exam. However, it is recommended that the candidate makes sample papers a part of the preparation early in the preparation stage.One must try to solve as many sample papers as possible.
