No, its's not necessary, if you're carrying good skills for sketching, it's helpful but in case if you're not, we (faculty members) mentors and other exercises will help you develop those skills, and mostly the important part is the detailing in your sketches. A student can apply for the programme for B. Des in Fashion, interior, product design, and more, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. You have to clear 10+2 to get admission in B.Sc. Fashion Design. Along with that, you can also work on your sketching and designing skills in your free time.

Eligibility to be a fashion designer is based on your creativity. But you can enhance your creative skills by joining a degree programme in fashion design. You can do B.Sc. Fashion Design after 10+2. In B.Sc. You will learn all about fashion, designing, textile, pattern making, designing, graphic designing and many more. It will help you to understand more about fashion.
