Yes there is a vacancy available for the post of assistant professor for fashion designing at NIFT college and Hindustan university both. Although last dates to apply at both the institutes are not available. At Hindustan University, you need to have a minimum one year experience along with M.Des / M.Tech (Fashion Apparel Design). You can apply for both the institutes from there official websites. You'll find a career section in both the websites where you can apply for these vacant posts. You can visit the official websites of the institutes for further detailed information.

Yes, you can become a fashion designer after completing tetile designing course. Textile design teaches you the fundamentals of designing materials, patterns and prints. You can use this knowledge in fashion designing. Many people who are now fashion designers started their careers as textile designers . You should note that becoming a successful fashion designer often necessitates a combination of education, experience, and a distinct fashion perspective. The time taken to become a Fashion Designer might vary  depending on the individual or the course one has pursued. You can complete fashion designing courses. Aspirants who pursue a bachelor’s degree in fashion design can expect to start their careers in three-four years after they complete their degree.
