Its better to go through the old question papers available on FTII official website. The FTII JET 2020 Syllabus can be in two wings as Film and TV wings. In Film Wing, question paper will be divided into two sections as Section A and B. In Section A, candidates will be asked questions from General Aptitude Test in which there will questions related to Architecture, Art, Cinema etc. While in Section B, candidates will be asked questions from Specific Area Aptitude Test in which there will be long descriptive questions, descriptive questions & short notes type questions. The other details related to entrance exam are given below.
1. Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode.
2. Duration: Candidates will get 3 hours to complete the exam.
3. Questions Type: 30 questions will be of MCQ type questions & 70 questions will be of descriptive answer type questions.
4. Maximum Marks: Question paper will be of 100 marks.
5. Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will carry 1 mark.

The eligibility criteria of PGD in Direction and Screenplay writing is Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent (The candidates who have not received their graduation degree before the application date are required to submit the same before the date of admission).
Admission procedure : The admission process consists of the nationally administered Joint Entrance Test (JET), and subsequent rounds of Orientation / Interview. The students are selected on the basis of their JET scores, and performance in the orientation & interviews.
On the basis of performance in JET, the list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the Institute. The institute will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly.
