Sri Lankan students can get the admission in some of the Universities as directed by the Government of India. As you have not mentioned the name of the course. For further details and procedure you can contact to the Indian Embassy or Consulate in Sri Lanka all the information and procedure is available.

Just to clarify, no book or teacher can make you a director. See, a film director makes films and films are a medium for story telling. So, you need to have a story, you need to find your own voice and this, fortunately, or unfortunately, will be your never-ending-personal-struggle. Dear Vignesh, There are courses starting from 6 months to 3 years. It purely depends on your interest and practice to master it. You can go with any reputed VFX training centre and go through the courses. Basically Adobe After effects you can start with and you can continue learning and practising with software like NUKE, cenima 4d based on the requirement you wish to pursue your career. You can go for animation degree for this which is available in many institutes in India and these institutes hold entrance exam for this. You will have to search out which entrance and college you want to go for. Good luck.
