Visual communication and mass communication both have similar study pattern but if you're into filmmaking then I would suggest you go for visual communication.

FCP - Final Cut Pro is taught to students who do their graduation or even post-graduation in Film Making, Media Production, Editing, Visual Editing, etc. If you are not opting for a Formal Degree after 12th then you have to find out some academy at your possible preference of place. Private academies shall share what their fee is same for computer hardware.

You can do B.Sc in Film Making and TV Production or B. Design in Film and TV Production and eligibility is that you should have passed 10+2 (with English) or equivalent with a minimum of 50%-60% aggregate marks, subject to valid score in the test for doing UG course.
