Film & animation is the art of film making and animation. This course discipline involves creating the film through traditional or digital means and animation using the latest computer animation technology. This animation course exposes students to the range of traditional and digital techniques used in Claymation, stop-motion, 2-D or 3-D computer animation. They learn basic theory and mechanics behind animation develop observational and drawing skills and study the fundamental principles of layout, character design, and storyboarding. M.Phil. in Journalism and Mass Communication: Eligibility:
Candidate must have passed the PG or equivalent examination with at least 50% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) of the marks from a recognised state/private/deemed or central University. He/She shall not be having any backlog or compartment in any of the subject/subjects at PG or equivalent level that is yet to be cleared at the time of taking admissions. Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criteria various colleges and institutes may have their own additional criteria which the students would have to satisfy in order to take admission (like work experience of certain years). In case of reserved category students, they would have to present their reservation certificates issued by the competent authorities in order to avail the benefits applicable to them. Certain Institute provides admission through Common Entrance Test (CET) (Like AMU). To get admission in these institutes candidates would have to qualify the respective entrance exam by securing minimum qualifying marks.
