when you appear for the screening or counseling, you should carry some proof that you have cleared the qualifying exams. If you don't have that then they would reject your admission. You can also contact the organisers as soon as possible to correct any discrepancy in the application or counseling call letter

Hi Biju,
In Journalism & mass Communication courses - emphasis is more on writing skills / story making / Presentation / facing camera etc .
In media & Entertainment - Its more about becoming an anchor / personality development and other aspects of movie making but in lesser depth.
But if you are interested in cinematography - the course is entirely different.
You should go for Film & Television Technology - it covers all aspects of film making & cinematography as well. This will increase your chances of job prospects.

Yes, you need to hold the graduation degree in this field. After that you need to give an entrance test. If you clear that than you will have a personal interview round That's all after that just complete the registration process. I have pasted the link below you can go yourself through whole process https://www.shiksha.com/college/film-and-television-institute-of-india-ftii-erandwana-pune-998/admission All the best.

Hello,
For taking admission into DU for journalism and mass communication there are two process
First one is entrance in which the fees is compatibly lower than non-entrance colleges. The second one is based on cutoff marks so you have to score more than 90% if you want a good college. I am doing this course and my parents are also Biharis they also have doubts so it is your responsibility to teach them the importance of this field. Show then scopes of this field that if you doesn't become a actor still you will have lots of options like photography, direction, advertising and news Industry so they will not say no to you.
All the best.
