Yes, you can take admission in acting schools after class 10th but I would prefer you to also do basic courses like film making, editing and thus build contacts. Also, try giving auditions. Even if you take arts stream and then pursue a career in Film making or Mass Media, you will have more contacts and detailed information about the industry. MGR Film and Television Institute is yet to be announced admission for 2019-20. You have to collect form directly from the institute or can get the form by sending the fee and postal expenses. Apart from Film editing and animation course, you have to score more than 50% in 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry. Then, you have to appear in written exam and personal interview to get admission there.

Total fee is 25k.
