I would say that print has a better scope because you get job security in the same in which you sit inside an office or you do TV journalism. TV journalism and anchoring has better scope. TV Correspondent or the TV News Anchor is a celebrity and there is no denying that most of the Media Graduates die for this profile only. There are fewer people who will ignore but most of them ask about the salary. This is also an assignment based job where a job may not be possible.

It is not only simply acting, but also involves a lot of efforts. Anchoring is another role in which one needs to host a show to make it more organized and in the same time more catchy and entertaining. Both these roles are not that easy to take up. As an actor, one needs to have more patience, persistence and confidence. As an anchor, one should have the courage and confidence to communicate with many people without fearing the camera.

The course covers a variety of aspects of Broadcast Journalism like the ethical and legal knowledge necessary on top of technical knowledge. Sonali Naphade and Kanchan Chowdhary are the faculties in charge of this course. I have personally been a student of Sonali Ma'am and I can vouch for her teaching quality and experience. I have also interacted with Kanchan Ma'am, and she was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable as well. You can find out more about both the course, as well as the faculty members themselves on the college website, 'http://sbc.ac.in'.

Many employers prefer news anchors with a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, mass communication, or journalism, although communications and similar majors are acceptable. The coursework for these programs is liberal arts-based with a mixture of writing classes and speech classes. If specializations or minors are available in broadcasting, a student may need to complete the applicable classes in order to become familiar with television news and production.

Actually, they don't offer as such specific course in acting. but yes they are offering bachelors and masters in Journalism & Mass Communication. Then, maybe, there is a subject of cinema studies. Then only, you can learn and go through the syllabus of the same university either they have acting course or not.
