Dear Khaja Zahed Ali, I highly recommend Ph.D. programme if you are looking for the teaching profession as by 2023 Ph.D. will be mandatory for the teaching profile. Moreover, Ph.D. will help you to explore more yourself in the respective domain. My friend is also doing Ph.D. in Management at LPU after his MBA programme. It is not difficult to get admission to Ph.D. if you are good at research work. To increase your chances to get admission to Ph.D. you should have a good academic record and the area of research you want to work in. Dear Anush, To the best of my knowledge, the post-graduation should be in the same subject for the Ph.D. programme. Therefore, you can pursue Ph.D. in Management after an MBA programme but not in commerce. Only M.Com students can pursue Ph.D. in Commerce. My friend is also doing Ph.D. in Management at LPU after his MBA programme. It is not difficult to get admission to Ph.D. if you are good at research work. Hello Charan S, yes, for those who could not score required ranking due to different reasons, can definitely think of seeking admission under management quota. There is absolutely nothing wrong in it. But I am afraid that the detailed information is not available in public domain. You need to contact the administration to know the details. Best wishes to you.

There is MBA-IT but not MBA-EC. In any case, the most important thing about MBA is the grade of the college and its capability to provide good placement facilities. Unless you choose a MBA college which is under CAT CMAT MAT or XAT its not going to be fruitful.
