Hi Joseph,
NMIMS, Mumbai is one of the best B-schools for finance in India, primarily because of the following reasons:
1. Location Advantage - no matter how many times it has been mentioned, it is necessary to stress upon how important it is that the college is situated in the heart of Mumbai. This attracts a lot of guest lecturers, case studies and many companies for placements.
2. It has a legacy of over 35 years, and has a good name as a result.

If you have done B.A. In maths or Economics, then MBA finance is good. In absence of both of these subjects, MBA finance would be very challenging. I would advice you to check out your interest areas and career aspirations & then decide what course you need to pursue.

Dear, It is not possible to pursue to Degree course study in regular mode simultaneously. B.Tech followed by BBA is possible after completion of B.Tech. But for doing MBA with specialisation in Finance, I think BBA is not required. By cracking management entrance test like CAT/MAT etc. After B.Tech, you can do your MBA with specialisation in Finance. Best wishes.
